Icey Soles!

Oh the weather tomorrow is reported to be frightful, lots of snow and ice, that's sooo not delightful!
It doesn't show signs of stopping because the following two days are going to be much of the same.
Snow and Ice! Snow and Ice! Snow and Ice!
How I hate having to go out in the storm
If only I had no place to go
I could stay at home and dream of buying these sparkling soles below
online to ignite my feet with warmth by designers: Rodo, XcXaCarat, Juicy Couture,Gina and Report Signature.
Hmmm, this is one way to prevent the Winter Blues of Old Man Winter.

Soles To Envy!

Today I stumbled on these incredibly cute shoe Christmas ornaments on www.metmuseum.org I especially liked the Green Hearts Pump above and it's just $15, less if you have a membership. I started thinking hmmm, how interesting it would be to find some Holiday shoes in this envy color of green. To my surprise designers: Alexander McQueen, Christian Louboutin, Lanvin, Max Kibardin, and Kate Spade must have been thinking about the green eyed monster when they created these ornaments to envy below.

Soles For The Nutcraker!

My plan for Black Friday was to track down some super sole sales instead I ended up purchasing two tickets for George Balanchine's Nutcracker ballet performance on December 7th! For me the Nutcracker is a magical holiday ballet because it brings back sooo many wonderful memories of dancing in it. For years past and present my mother and I continue with the tradition of attending one of its performances. Not only is it enchanting to see the handsome little wooden doll come to life dancing to Tchaikovsky's beautiful score but it makes me want to do pirouettes in adorable ballet soles just like the ones below created by J.Crew, Juicy Couture,Sigerson Morrison, and Maloles.

Solely Black Friday!

Hooray! Today is Friday November 28th , the day after Thanksgiving, the beginning of the season's Christmas shopping. Although it's not an official holiday, my friend and I have the day off to shop for amazing sales as early as four o'clock in the morning when most stores open. Due to heavy traffic of shoulder to shoulder people on this particular day, I find it totally necessary to relieve my feet of any stress so I always slip them into a pair of comfy stylish soles. Now if only I could find a bargain for a new pair of flats like these below by: Dolce & Gabbana, Faryl Robin,Devotte,Barbara Bui,Costume National, and Maloles.

Solely For Your Health!

Today I stayed home curled up on my sofa feeding my cold plenty of garlic and chicken noodle soup while I watched the silver screen. My neighbor suggested that I take Colloidal Silver which happens to be a natural antibiotic but it may come with a risk factor of serious side effects. Hmmm, I guess there is some truth to what Forrest Gump says: "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get."
Instead of someone giving me lovely soles made of silver like the ones above and below by : Dolce & Gabbana, Pour La Victoire, Miu Miu and Georgina Goodman I get a bottle of bits of silver floating in a liquid that's possibly hazardous to my health!

Solely Not For The Naughty!

"You better watch out. You better not cry. You better not pout. I'm telling you why; Santa Claus is coming to town. He's making a list and he's checking it twice; gonna find out whose naughty and nice. Santa Claus is coming to town."
- J. Fred Coots and Haven Gillespie
Of course in other countries such as
France and Canada, he's known as Pere Noel, in Brazil and Peru, he's called Papai Noel, in Poland; Gwiazdor (Starman). Although I may be an adult I'm still a kid at heart and I hope I'm on Santa's nice list so he can bring me these
jolly soles created by some of my fav designers: Miu Miu,
Roberto Cavalli,Oscar de la Renta,Alexander McQueen, and Giuseppe Zanotti.
