One of my fave quotes about the Night is from French Writer and Aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupery: "Night, the beloved. Night, when words fade and things come alive. When the destructive analysis of day is done, and all that is truly important becomes whole and sound again. When man reassembles his fragmentary self and grows with the calm of a tree." Solely true, maybe this is why I am drawn to the Blackness of Artist Carlos Lopez Martinez's mysterious photograph "Black Block" and Vouelle's graceful sole for F/W2010!p.s. Thank you Miss Glitzy for introducing me to Vouelle's world of beautiful soles.
